You can use several onchain tools to release music on Future Tape. The specifics of each platform vary, but we support tracks minted on Catalog, Sound, Nina, ZORA, Supercollector, Riff, and independently deployed Ethereum contracts.
Mint a track as an ERC-721 Edition. Each token in the edition has the same content. The editions can be limited in quantity or only available for a period of time. See example, start on testnet.
Mint an album with multiple tracks as an ERC-1155 multi-edition. This type of collection can contain multiple tracks and additional non-audio artwork (liner notes, credits, & more).
